Link Runner AT 2000 Review

When trying to resolve network issues away from your desk there are many approaches that can be taken. Having the right tools for the job makes all the difference of course. Cisco Identity Services Engine

I recently had the opportunity to attend a Cisco Gold lab focused on Cisco’s Identity Services Engine (ISE). I was particularly interested in the capabilities of the ISE that would help us deal with the “Bring Your Own Device” (BYOD) mess we are starting to get into. Fluke Link Runner

When looking for a simple, easy to use and easy to carry network tool I decided on the Link Runner by Fluke Networks.  The device its self is about the size of a typically smart phone and about twice as thick.  There are only three buttons on the device; a power button and a pair of soft keys.  The top of the device has a pair of Ethernet ports that made to the typical RJ-45 connector.
